Adult Emergency Department

An elderly patient's wife wrote and nominated these four outstanding nurses for their constant compassion, care, kindness, expertise, and communication. This elderly patient and his wife always present to the healthcare system as a team. The wife, a constant companion for her husband, watches every step, every treatment, every interaction as her husband's advocate. Kristina, Amber, Jennifer, and Paul, over a 24-hour time frame, provided care that included the wife and she was thrilled to be recognized as part of the team caring for her husband. She praised the greatness of these four nurses practicing family-centered care and providing the best care for her loved one.
