I would love to tell my story on how Ms. Crystal Narty (nurse) and Ms. Joni Rails (supervisor) went over and beyond for my husband! He had a heart attack, and it devastated me to the core. My daughter called me at work and said, "C is having a heart attack." I dropped everything, left work, and came to the main entrance of the hospital. I told the clerk who I was there to see, and she said, "I don't see him here," out of breath and nervous, I said, "Well, he has to be here, "so she sent me to another clerk, where I asked to speak with a supervisor.
At that moment, I came in contact with Ms. Joni. She came out and took me to a more private area and explained to me exactly what was happening. She assured me that everything would be ok. The encounter made me feel so much better, and I could breathe again. She told me he, in fact, had a heart attack and that once the procedure was over, she would bring me back to see him; roughly about 5 minutes later, she took me back, and I met the doctor who explained what procedure he had performed and what was next.
The nurse, Ms. Crystal Narty, came in. She was so pleasant and gentle with him that she made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of during recovery. After the sit-up time, we were supposed to go to the intensive care unit, but the doctor rejected it because no work was done during the procedure, and there was "no blockage," so they downgraded his bed! The nurse informed us that we would be going back to the floor he initially came from, which was on floor 4! I didn't understand, so I asked for the admin, and Ms. Joni came out, made calls, and got us another room right away! She is the best supervisor in my eyes because she's assertive, makes it happen, and also has empathy for people!
As we waited for the room, the Nurse made sure my husband had water; she even ordered him a food tray! Overall, they made me comfortable and informed me of exactly what was transpiring. I wish them both an abundance of success in their careers because I definitely can tell, and I feel that they genuinely love their jobs, and their patients' well-being and health are their 1st priority! I don't think I will ever forget them. I want to say it again and again: thank you, Ms. Joni and Ms. Crystal. I really appreciate you both so much!
