I don’t have enough words to describe the depth of gratitude I feel toward Aebin. He was truly a light in the darkest of times. He anticipated what my mother would need and cared for her as if she were his own mother. He was extremely detail-oriented, evaluating each situation not merely by following protocol but by considering what would be best for her — what would provide her the most comfort. He also ensured that I understood each step of the process as her caregiver.

I’ve been an RN for many years, but the level of attention, compassion, and humanity that Aebin showed toward my mother is unparalleled by anything I’ve ever witnessed. He prepared whatever was needed for her care with love and precision, often before anyone even asked, to ensure there was never a delay or that my mother was left waiting.

I felt truly valued by him, and I knew he always had my mom’s best interests at heart. I felt blessed that he was my mom’s nurse and an extraordinary one at that. He radiates compassion, care, and love, and he truly deserves this award.

I wish he knew how even the smallest details meant the world to both my mom and me. I’m forever indebted to him for the care he provided, all done with a smile. Aebin is a diamond and a treasure, and I will be forever grateful to him. He showed us that no matter what adversity a person faces, kindness and compassion are free — and should always be shared.
