The nomination was from two family members; each wrote something different:

First of all, she was truly a godsend. She helped us through our first-born son's time in the NICU. Aerial did outstanding work showing us, as first-time parents, how and what to watch for with a new baby. She is just truly a great nurse and very talented. I hope this award goes to her, and I hope other babies receive her care in the NICU. Thank you.

Aerial was very professional and informative when it came to having difficult conversations. She navigated through them with an open mind and sensitivity. She walked us through step by step, explaining what we needed to know and why things were happening to our son. We appreciate each and every person on our son’s care team and thank you all for caring so diligently for our son. Thank you from our family.
