Aggie was on duty when my mother was admitted to Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. In the first days of my mother’s hospitalization, I was unsure of what my mother’s condition was and what her doctor had planned for treatment. Aggie was able to explain the results of preliminary tests and what was to be the first course of treatment.

She was very sensitive to our families needs and went above and beyond her duties as nurse to my mother. My m other responded to her and trusted her. Aggie worked tirelessly and was very attentive to my mother as the weeks wore on.

My mother was hospitalized for six weeks before she passed away. Through my mother’s hospitalization and ultimately her end of life process, Aggie was a shining star. She always went out of her way to make sure my mother was comfortable. She was also very supportive to me and my family during this terribly difficult time. In a word she was amazing!

My family would like to highly recommend this extraordinary nurse, Aggie, for your distinguished DAISY Award. There could be no other who would be more deserving than Aggie. We will never forget her expertise as a nurse and her loving care of my mother and sensitivity to our family in the tragic loss of our Mother.
