When I first met Ahlam, she struck me as a quiet and shy nurse. It didn't take long to realize how incorrect I was. Once she began taking care of me, she let me see who she really was. She was professional, competent, and so much more. As we got to know each other, I knew that behind that professionalism and competence was a heart filled with patience and true love for making her patients and others comfortable and at ease.

In just a few days, we felt we were family, and we were a little sad to leave each other. She is truly a keeper for Corewell.
