Ahlam Al Osaimi, RN

As a Pediatric Consultant, it is always expected that I do examine and consult a lot of patients every day and with this part of my job, it is natural to mistakenly write orders at times, though it is not truly acceptable. I am nominating Ahlam Al Osaimi a Senior Charge Nurse in Pediatric Ward IV for the keen and polite way of noticing the dosages of the medication that I wrote in my order.

I had Post NOBA (Post Night Shift) rounds on that day and I truly felt exhausted already, it would be considered as a near-missed classification in an Occurrence Variance Report (Quality Management Reporting) when my order was seen and read by Nurse Ahlam. I have seen her also overly occupied because the Ward is full in capacity from weekend admissions transferred from the Emergency Department, but she manages her Ward diligently. With this kind of integrity from my nurse, I am so confident to be working at her side. I am deeply honored that she saved me, and the life of the patient as well. Indeed, we are one team and we aim to maintain the safety of our patients.
