Nurse Ahmed in the Emergency room works with compassion, and humility, and gives extraordinary nursing care to patients. Ever since he started working in ER patients are always admiring him and were very impressed by the compassion and kindness that he brought, no complaints were received but all praises from the patients and family members. Emergency Department is full of pressure, especially in life-threatening situations, and in those times I saw how Ahmed excelled, I saw how he gave extraordinary nursing care to each patient, how he laughs with them, cares for them, treats them with respect and how he stays with them in difficult situations. He always wears his smile even if he is tired. I remember a time when we received an older patient, he carried him carefully from the car to the stretcher. I witnessed how he took care of him from gentle cannulation until the patient was discharged. I witnessed when the patient reached his hand and said "Thank You" and he offered a prayer for him. Ahmed inspires not only me as his Head Nurse but also the whole Emergency department team. His humble heart may think that he is just doing his job, but the truth is he is providing extraordinary care for the patients. On behalf of the Emergency Department, we would like to say THANK YOU!!!
