Ms. Cocking has been an essential team member in the care of a young woman with severe psychiatric illness who had been hospitalized multiple times for suicidal behavior. She came to be part of Ms. Cocking's care for wound care which is among the most severe self-harm I have ever seen.

Ms. Cocking was able to engender trust in this patient who otherwise had a very difficult time trusting anyone and was dangerously reserved in demeanor at times. This patient consistently followed up with her, and I believe her professional and compassionate nature was critically related to how much progress we've been able to achieve with her psychological wellness.
