I received a patient request to speak to a manager. The patient wanted to report exceptional customer service and stated she does not compliment others easily. The patient wanted to recognize Aileen for her kindness, compassion, and genuine understanding. She described how Aileen did not rush and even helped her find the right words to communicate what she was feeling. The patient stated, “Aileen never lost her patience and did not start sighing; she never got frustrated or was short with me.” The patient shared how this act of kindness changed her life. Her statement was, "You never know what happened to a person right before that call, and the way that Aileen treated me made me feel respected and listened to."
