Our family was faced with a complex set of decisions that related to our father, a physician, who was requesting aggressive interventions medically in the face of severe heart failure. This was in contrast to a large family group that consisted of his wife and eight children. Aimee was spectacular in her sensitivity and compassion in helping us to all cope and understand our father's illness and next steps. She participated in the palliative care conference and helped us understand and process a difficult situation. "Salt of the Earth" this Aimee! We all think she is exceptional and deserves this award.
