PICU had a teenager that didn’t have any clothing or anything a patient might want or need while in the hospital, and the family wasn’t able to provide these things. Aimee took it upon herself to go, during her lunch break, to Walmart and purchased clothes and toiletries for the patient. The patient was so surprised and so very thankful. Aimee always goes above and beyond for our patients, but today she provided for a kid that has had a rough start and Aimee is a true DAISY Nurse.
