She also brings creativity to hands-on skills training, making learning engaging, practical, and memorable while maintaining high expectations for safety and competency.

Comments from Aimee’s Education Department team:

The following comments reflect the impact of Aimee’s leadership and teaching on her team:

“While Aimee’s leadership is visible in our major projects at Avita, her truest impact lies in the quiet moments experienced by us—her team. When people ask me to describe my job, I start with the sense of community and support we have here; I point to her unyielding faith in us. She leads by trusting us to manage and deliver independently, effectively building a team of leaders rather than just a team of staff. Every ‘win’ in our department is a direct result of her belief that we are capable. We simply wouldn’t be us without her.”

“Aimee is an extraordinary leader whose impact on the Education Department cannot be overstated. Through her vision, dedication, and genuine care for both her team and the work we do, she has taken this department to the next level. Aimee leads with trust—valuing our expertise and giving us the confidence to step forward and grow. Her leadership brings out the best in each of us, making us not only stronger professionals, but also a more connected and effective team."

Thank you, Aimee, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
