I had surgery and was in tremendous pain. Aireen provided the care I really needed. She listened to me and acted quickly, explained everything I needed to do in order to feel better, helped me, and, most of all, was empathetic to the pain and suffering I was going through. She checked in often, making sure I was ok, and provided a sense of comfort that I really needed at the time. She kept getting paged but made sure I was taken care of before leaving my side. When I think of a nurse, I envision a caring person who always puts the needs of the patients first. Thank you, Aireen, for taking care of me and demonstrating what I knew Sutter stands for, which is patient care first. Care I will never forget.
