Aisha developed a fully equipped trolley for transporting asphyxiated neonates to the NICU while ventilating them, thus reducing the rate of neonatal mortalities in her facility.
She demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the promotion of maternal and neonatal health in Ghana. She is currently pursuing a specialist training with the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives.  She was a facilitator for a program called Women's Health to Wealth and is passionate about primary health care for pregnant women and post partum mothers.

Her passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of neonates informed her innovative work of modifying the newborn examination form, redesigning the color-coded maternal and obstetric early warning chart, and developing a fully equipped trolley for transporting asphyxiated neonates to the NICU while ventilating them, thus reducing the rate of neonatal mortalities in her facility. Her innovative trolley has been adopted by the Ghana Health Service and received an award as the Overall National Best Midwife for 2022.

She is an inspiration to her colleagues and student Midwives.

Note: This is Aisha's 2nd DAISY Award!
