I had a patient that wanted to share something about one of our nurses - Aisling Elsner. She told me that Aisling had taken care of her often during her two week stay with us. She said that she was awesome and provided great care as did the rest of the staff. What really set Aisling apart from the rest was that she would come in and sit with her after her shift was over. The patient told me that Aisling even came to see her on her day off. The patient just couldn't believe that a nurse would take time out of her life to come and just sit and talk with her. She was beyond impressed. She felt that Aisling went way beyond her expectations, stating that she was so kind and compassionate toward her. She made the patient feel really special during her stay.
