Ajin took that extra mile to put joy in a patient's sad and lonely day. This patient voiced to multiple staff members that it was his anniversary and was disappointed that not a single family member had taken the time to come see him. Ajin being the loving and compassionate nurse that she is asked if the gift shop was open to see if she could grab him some flowers and/or balloon, but unfortunately, I had to tell her no because it was after hours. Ajin decided that wouldn't stop her; she contacted a local friend and had them deliver flowers and a happy anniversary balloon. Small acts of kindness like this should always be noticed. It brings me such joy to have her working as part of my team!
