Akeysha is amazing. She is loyal and cares about her staff so much. She truly listens to you, and you have her full attention when she talks to you. She always has our backs and encourages us to be the best we can be. Her ultimate goal is for the patients to have optimal care and to produce excellent patient outcomes.

Akeysha fosters an environment that promotes positivity, hard work, and working together as a team. I am grateful for how much she cares about the staff. She is a superb department director, and she deserves recognition for all of her efforts. Akeysha is a great leader. She listens actively to concerns that are brought to her attention and does everything in her power to correct the situation and foster a healthy work environment.

Akeysha has always had an open-door policy which is very helpful to her staff. Staff is able to walk into her office at any time and talk to her about any and everything, with no appointments necessary. She is a great leader and looks for the potential for professional growth in all staff, and makes sure that she supports them to reach whatever milestones they are interested in reaching. For example, I was hired into a staff RN role with no BSN, and under Akeysha's leadership, I have been able to achieve my BSN and MSN, and now work as NP. She has been pivotal in my professional growth here at BHH.
