I am writing this letter regarding my recent 5-day stay. I would like to express the greatest appreciation I have for nurses Akoute (AK) Kouevi- Gou and his brother Sam Kouevi-Gou.

The caring service, dedication and attention to my recovery were beyond exceptional. I have been a patient at Advocate Trinity Hospital since 2001. I have several chronic medical issues, which have resulted in me being hospitalized numerous times just about every year since 2001.

I met nurses AK and Sam several years ago as a patient at Advocate Trinity Hospital. I have been in their care on prior stays at Trinity Hospital and their care was great. I have seen both brothers outside of the hospital setting and they always recognize me and inquire on my health and well-being.

This being said, I get emotional just writing this letter. AK and Sam went out of their way to make sure they provided around the clock service and care during my last visit. These two phenomenal nurses provided the absolute best care I have every received during my entire years of constant hospitalization at any time, AK and Sam through the authorization of the charge nurse or if they themselves were the charge nurse during their shifts to personally see to my recovery.

I write this letter from the heart and not as a part of a survey because it means just that much to me and my family. Thank you AK and Sam you are the best of the best!
