I apologize if I'm a bit emotional still but this girl literally changed my life! I am truly grateful to have met her and hope this story helps her get recognition!

One night, I lost my mom unexpectedly. My niece and I came to view the body of my mother, and Alana was the nurse in the room explaining everything to us! I heard her verbally, but mentally, I was out of it! Alana treated my niece and me like family! She literally did all she could to get us through that horrible moment! Alana did not know us at all, but she was such a source of comfort during one of our darkest moments. I swear her soul is angelic!

Alana made sure we had the privacy to grieve, gave us water and tissues, and provided us seating as my knees were literally buckling under me! Alana explained everything to us about what occurred and what to expect as we waited for the coroner to pick Mom up! Alana, again, never met us but consoled me by fanning me as I was literally feeling like I was losing air and just patting me on my back to let me know she was there!

During all of that, I asked her name multiple times, but due to my mental state, I could not remember, but I remembered some of her facial remarks and just how she treated me. I searched on social media, and I saw a picture on your site. I instantly knew it was her, and it was confirmed by a few of your other amazing nurses! I was able to reconnect with Alana to thank her and provide some goodies, but in my heart, I know she deserves more! (I say a pony, but funds are tight, lol.)

Alana is such a beautiful soul and was such a light in an extremely dark moment! I can't thank her or the team enough for all they did trying to save my momma!

She will forever be a blessing to me! Thank you all for trying! My mom was my world, and I'm still a young mom learning myself, so navigating without a mom is hard, but reconnecting with Alana provided so much closure for me! She is phenomenal!
