From the moment Alberon became my nurse in the emergency room he was very thorough and attentive. He explained everything he was doing clearly and patiently, listened to my concerns and had very thoughtful and articulate answers to my questions. He promptly addressed my requests with the doctor and provided phenomenal care not only for my physical necessities but also made me feel that he had my best interest at heart. I felt confident that I could rely on him to help me. He made me feel very safe in his care. I felt confident that he was devoted to providing comforting and diligent aid. I’m a sickle cell patient, and my hematologist is in Boston at MGH. I went to Emerson Hospital out of medical emergency but was planning to transfer to MGH if I got admitted. Unfortunately, I did get admitted, but the caliber of care Alberon presented me with made me feel that the treatment I would receive here would be competent, intelligent, detailed, kind, and secure to stay at Emerson Hospital. With my lifelong illness, I have been in many a hospital, but I have NEVER felt more taken care of than last night.
