After having undergone my first surgery, SGT Calderon was assigned as my nurse. I was in a lot of pain at times but SGT Calderon went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible. All night he came to check on me, he got me a heating pad to help with the pain in between the pain medication. He was constantly coming in to re heat the pad for me and would bring me ice packs when I started to feel very warm. Not only was it obvious that he enjoyed his job and took pride in it, he also made my experience a very pleasant one. I never once felt like a bother. I could not thank him enough for making this painful ordeal a much better experience. People like SGT Calderon have a huge positive impact on the overall view of not just the other nurses here but also the hospital as a whole.
