Alden helped develop the Corporate Guidance for COVID-19.
Alden Canlas from Corporate Nursing & Quality, became a DAISY Champion because he provided critical support during the launch and implementation of DAISY Awards for Nurses in NMC Healthcare. Alden was appreciated not only for his compassion and dedication but also for his knowledge and expertise, attributes which have all been specifically appreciated.
He has been part of the DAISY Award Committee, giving assurance that the selected honorees and nominees for DAISY are all deserved. During the pandemic, he helped develop the Corporate Guidance for COVID -19 which was circulated to all NMC facilities. These helped to guide and protect all our staff from COVID-19, but especially our frontline nurses. He also undertook facility visits and audits to ensure compliance. Thank you, Alden.
