I have had multiple stays at Allen Hospital during the past two years. My experiences with the hospital staff have always been very positive and professional. However, my experience with Alec Steils on my most recent visit surpassed all expectations. Alec is a very kind and compassionate caretaker. He was always doing his best to attend to my needs and keep me comfortable. It was obvious from our first interaction that he is also extremely knowledgeable and thorough when administering care. He asked me to repeat back warning signs to be watching for following my angiogram. Alec took time to patiently explain what he was doing each time he visited my room, which was very frequently. I can’t speak highly enough about the outstanding care I received at the hands of Nurse Steils.

In addition to providing exceptional care to patients, Alec is a great team player! He’s never too busy to assist another member of his team. He’s quick to jump in to help and always maintains a professional, positive demeanor, assists with orientation of new team members, and takes great pride in his work every day. Alec is currently working to obtain his Nurse Practitioner education and license. He will be a great asset to our community in this role. We are so fortunate to have Alec as part of our 3 Heart and House Supervisor teams!
