Alecia is always polite and professional when interacting with her peers, patients, and families. Even when faced with some challenging situations she is always compassionate and understanding. She often sits one on one with patients when they are upset or agitated. She always takes time to sit down with patients and listen attentively. We had a patient recently who required one on one care. This patient had not slept for days. He was very unsteady and legally blind. Alecia sat with him and walked with him around the unit for hours to calm him. She is one of the most caring nurses I have ever worked with.
