Alecia was one of the best nurses we had. The reason I want to nominate Alecia is because she was with me on one of the hardest days of my life - the last day with my daughter H. It was Jan. 29 and Alecia had been there since 7 a.m. the previous day due to the snow storm. She diligently worked with H's dialysis, low blood pressure, and ultimately H's death. Alecia did everything she could to help us. She took great care of H as she helped me give her last bath and prepared her for our final goodbye. She also attended the memorial service with Greta, our fabulous nurse practitioner, and Jennie, one of our fabulous nurses. Alecia handled everything with grace and let me know that she really cared for my baby.
