A family member of a patient shared that Alecia Weaver was reassuring, always uplifting and extremely supportive. The patient's fiance had been seriously ill and was transferred to the Ellis ICU under difficult circumstances. She was wowed that the team was able to save him even while on a ventilator. Alecia was recognized for taking the extra time to explain what the numbers meant on the many machines that he was connected to. Alecia demonstrated great pride in her work and she was identified by the patient's family as one of the finest people she had met in her lifetime!
