Using the hospital pharmacy has been a good thing for the patients. Aleese had a patient that utilized the hospital pharmacy. After waiting for her prescriptions to be filled for 45 minutes, she found out that there was a copay, which she did not have.
Aleese told the pharmacist to give the patient the medication and that she would pay for the copay.
