Aleigha demonstrated the true meaning of a nurse when a preemie baby was admitted to the NICU.
Aleigha was able to care for a very sick infant with the utmost compassion and caring manner.
When it was determined that the baby would be placed on comfort care, Aleigha came in during her free time to hold this baby as the family was not involved and she did not want the baby's final hours to be spent alone.
I believe Aleigha loved this baby so very much and it surely came through in her care.
