I believe Aleise provided me with compassion and humor while I was in the hospital. She was a good listener to my concerns and relaying them to the doctor in order to get answers. She not only relayed my concerns, but she also ensured that I received an answer to the questions.

On the potential day of the discharge, she was concerned about the Pleurx system that I had inserted in the hospital and not having the answers about what I should do when I got home. She spent a lot of time making calls and trying to get the different agencies set up before my discharge home. She was so concerned for my well-being that I believe she stayed past her shift to ensure that things were set up. I even believe that she talked to the doctor about having me stay until the next day to make sure that everything was set up so that I was not left stranded at home with a lack of understanding about what I needed to do to continue to work towards my healing.

I truly appreciate her help and compassion towards my well-being and making sure that I felt comfortable and heard in the hospital, but also that I had everything that I needed once I got home.
