I had had a heart attack the afternoon before, and was admitted through the ER that evening, so for me, everything that followed was filled with unknowns. Alejandra was calm and caring. I had an episode of chest tightening during the time she was caring for me, and she handled the whole thing very competently, assuring me the whole time, as she was getting feedback from the doctor and following his lead. She didn't leave my side until I felt comfortable and knew that the episode had passed.

Later that day, before she went home, she called my husband to update him on the delay of my angiogram so that he wasn’t left wondering what was taking so long. We know we had a lot of support from loved ones praying for me, and I knew that Alejandra was one of the answers to those prayers. I appreciated her so much.  I received excellent care from everyone who came into my room over the two days I was there, but Alejandra is the one who really stood out.
