Alejandra Rubio, RN

Ali has been a nurse for 6 years working in rehab, long-term care, specialty clinics, and med/surg. Her favorite thing about being a nurse is the one-to-one time with patients and something as simple as listening to them talk can put a smile on their faces. She chooses to work at the VA because serving Veterans is an honor. Her nomination highlighted her dedication, leadership, attentiveness, willingness to help, and grace under pressure. The nominee stated, “You can tell that Ali truly wants to make a difference in many people’s lives.” Thank you Ali for serving our Veterans well and congratulations on a job well done!
