Alejandra went above and beyond in the care of a very complex, chronic patient in the CICU. The family has been preparing to go home and undergoing extensive teaching. Alejandra created a binder with daily schedules, list of medications, times to administer, etc. She stated that she did a lot of discharge planning in her previous RN position and was happy to help.

She took the initiative, without being asked, to help progress the care of this patient. It's a honor to work with her.
