I had quite possibly the best emergency room experience I’ve ever had. Aleksa was attentive to every patient she was observing. I overheard her speaking to another patient who was not very nice to her, but Aleksa handled the situation with the utmost kindness and patience. For myself, she checked on me consistently, with empathy, compassion, and understanding. She also took the time to explain everything that was happening at each step, which put me at ease. I’m used to nurses sticking me multiple times, and I informed her I was a hard one with the veins. She took her time and got the IV the very first time. I never once had to tell her I was in pain; she noticed it right away and advocated to the doctor every time. She took an experience I was dreading and crying in pain, and made me feel comfortable and informed every moment. She was one of the kindest nurses I’ve ever had and I’m more than grateful. I left feeling much better!
