A few months ago, a patient had broken his hip and was on Med/Surg 2. His neighbor was here visiting with him during the day. Alek walked into the patient's room to check on the patient and give him pain medication. When he looked over he saw the patient's neighbor very sweaty and passed out. He woke him up to ask him if he was ok. He stated that he was having severe chest pain. Alek grabbed a wheelchair and rushed him into the Emergency Department. The patient's neighbor later woke up on the 3rd floor at NH Mint Hill Medical Center. The patient's neighbor couldn't say enough great things about Alek and how he saved his life. He knows that God made Alek walk into the room at that given time because his earthly time wasn't up yet. The patient's neighbor said that he will forever love Alek and hopes that he is his nurse every time he comes to NH Mint Hill Medical Center.
