We always look forward to having Alena. I am 99 years old and have to come to the hospital once a month for shots and/or iron and have been doing so now for about 2 years. Alena is the best-she remembers us (me and my daughter or son) and details about our life. She takes time to find the right spot before giving injections (after 2 years of injections, there is a lot of scar tissue). She is reassuring, warm, and nurturing. She always gives me a hug when I come in, and when I leave. She is strong and quick with helping me in and out of the wheelchair to the reclining chair. I never feel nervous that I will fall.
Alena is always in a good mood and makes me very comfortable although she has a lot of patients (she moves quickly and efficiently). She never makes me feel rushed or like I have to "hurry up". She is the best! She looks forward to when she will see me again and makes me feel special and well-taken care for. She has a very special style of making someone feel like they are the only and most important patient they are seeing. She makes me feel safe, and that I will be well and strong! She's wonderful! My whole family loves her! Thank you for being at EHMC Alena!
