Alesha James went above and beyond to give the patient the best care. She was professional and respectful. This patient was a celebrity in her hometown in Jamaica. She made sure that her interactions were always professional, and of the best interest to the patient. She even went out of the way to bring him vegetarian Jamaican food. His appetite had been decreasing and he was missing his home cooking. Alesha ensured the family was kept up-to-date, and that the patient was made aware of his progress. She meets all of her patients with a big smile and a heart of compassion. She exemplifies what it means to be a nurse.
