November 2017 Honoree
alesha newman, BSN, RN
The other day I fell on the floor due to excessive bleeding. I felt that I was talking to Jesus because I knew there were many people around me, but I could not hear what they were saying. I heard Alesha ask, "is she breathing?" and I told her I had been talking to Jesus. Alesha then went to take care of me. I got many units of blood those first few days, I was having to go to the bathroom about every hour. Alesha stayed with me, always kind and helpful, never an unkind word. She is going back to school to be a nurse practitioner and she will make a great one. I cannot express how much I appreciate what she has done for me and my family. She took great care of my loved ones, as she did me. Thank you, Alesha.
Thank you, Alesha, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
