When Alex came into our mother's room she always seemed to make our anxieties and emotions a little less disheartening by greeting us in a caring and friendly manner. We were kept well-informed of all the care our mom was receiving as we sat near her or called the ICU. We would ask to speak with Alex when she was on duty. She always answered the early morning calls with understanding and compassion. We as a family would tell our relatives and friends who lived both near and far about the understanding care from Alex and other staff members on the ICU floor. Words cannot express our gratitude.
