We moved our dad to the progressive care unit, and in the 11 days that we have been in this here, we have had a number of wonderful nurses and techs caring for our dad, but one nurse stands out from the rest: Alex. She has always been extremely friendly and attentive, making sure our dad is comfortable and his needs are always met. She has gone out of her way to communicate with doctors, coordinators, and case managers to keep us informed of our next steps. We have had the luxury of her care for many of the days that our dad has been in this unit, starting from the beginning of his stay. She has become like family, and we greatly appreciate her.
