My dad came into the hospital having had a mild stroke. A few days later, he was chatting up a storm and we thought all was well. At 9 am his hospitalist came in and thought he was sleepy. Alex quickly recognized that my dad was not just sleepy and jumped into action. He could no longer speak and was flacid on his left side. She called a code stroke, and thankfully because of her quick actions, my dad is on the road to recovery. A big thank you, Alex! You are the best!
