In pre-op the doctor’s team introduced themselves, easing my anticipation. The gang marched me down to surgery. The feeling I got from this group was this battle is already half over. Seven mornings, six evenings, and some afternoons the gang showed up healing and comforting me. A professional and dedicated team.
Nurses and others filled the void for the next seven days. A superb group of caretakers. All day, all night just about every hour they were there. On Saturday and Sunday the discharge day Alex Schmitt passes and sets a new level of assistance. She simplified the tube feed and medication process by handwriting 3 pages of detailed steps to follow at home. Your extra mile was quite remarkable Alex.
