I was admitted to the ER because I blacked out. Alex was the nurse in charge as I went through various tests and met with the ER doctor. Over three hours he gave me excellent explanations of what was being tested for, what the tests involved, why certain causes could be ruled out (including a stroke), all of which was very comforting and just what a patient wants to demystify to the process. On top of this, Alex has a great personality for the job. Hopefully, Alex will stick with medicine and grow his career!
