I had Alexa as a nurse for 2 days over the weekend. She was extremely compassionate and listened to me and my concerns. I'm a heavy coffee drinker, and after walking around the unit, I came back to the room, and there was a cup of coffee waiting for me. Such a simple gesture shows that she pays attention to her patients. She would always take time out to say hello. Make sure everything was okay and was very attentive. She was one of the many nurses and staff members who deserve recognition. I honestly did not have one bad person on the 5th floor, and all of them were exceptional. From the techs to the nurses, the surgeon, and other doctors. It was actually one of the most pleasant days I've ever had at the hospital. But I definitely feel Alexa deserves recognition. I can tell she works hard.
