Alexa understands what it means to provide our patients with the best possible hospital experience and will do whatever it takes to ensure that all our patients' needs are met.
I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Alexa Narducci for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Alexa has assumed the role of assistant nurse manager for the past 2 years on 2 Tele. Over the past two years, Alexa has grown tremendously professionally and as a leader. Alexa has assisted her team in implementing a new way to perform MDR rounds, reinforced the discharge process, and helped our unit reach our patient experience goals. At any given moment you will find Alexa rounding on patients at the bedside, assisting the nursing staff with med pass or discharging patients to expedite bed assignments. Alexa understands what it means to provide our patients with the best possible hospital experience and will do whatever it takes to ensure that all our patients' needs are met. Alexa exudes positivity in everything that she does and never says no, even when she should. She is the prime example of what a leader should be, and I believe there is no one more deserving to receive this award.

Alexa consistently displays a positive attitude and is always willing to help her peers during difficult times. Alexa helps out on all units and does this without hesitation or direction. She is highly skilled, extremely organized, and knowledgeable, and a compassionate team player who consistently displays and promotes the highest ethical standards. Alexa has built strong working relationships with the leadership team as well as the medical staff, which helps keep the communication between doctors and nurses open and positive.
Alexa is an excellent role model for both her team and the leadership team. She handles difficult situations with little guidance from her leader to address issues or concerns. Both the patients and families that she serves have voiced that Alexa is extremely knowledgeable in her role and treats them with respect and values their concerns. She consistently rounds on her patients, providing them with updates and finding ways to make their stay a better one.
Alexa is currently in school to obtain her NP to further her nursing career. She is able to juggle the demands of leadership and school while always having a smile on her face.

Alexa is an amazing ANM. She truly goes above and beyond each shift at the facility. She positively impacts patient care at BMC, and each day, she comes in with a positive attitude. She works tirelessly to make sure the patients are taken care of and really does show positive leadership traits towards the staff. She works all shifts and really makes it a point to be focused on positive change within the facility. When I read the requirements for DAISY, she was the first person to come to mind as a positive attitude ANM who has a very bright future ahead. Thank you, Alexa, for all your hard work within BMC for our patients and the facility, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
