Alexa Parra, RN, is a new nurse orienting to the Oncology Unit. During her orientation, several families nominated her for the DAISY Award. Alexa demonstrates caring in all aspects of patient care. Alexa, always willing to learn and grow her nursing skills, gives 100% of herself to every patient and family. The patients always share with the Management Team how wonderful Alexa makes them feel. They know they are well cared for by ALexa. In just a few short months, Alexa has shown that she is a true caring and kind DAISY Nurse.
