I am the care-giver of a person with developmental disabilities. He was admitted to the burn unit where Alexa was his RN. She was very informative when reviewing all the necessary information. Alexa was also very caring and compassionate with him because he would have to stay at the hospital for several days.

Alexa spent a lot of time getting to know my patient, as well as his interests, likes, and dislikes. She was also his nurse following surgery. At that time he was refusing to take his meds, eat, or drink. He also attempted to rip out his IV and get out of bed. Alexa was very patient with him. Even when he spit food on her, she still continued to treat him with patience and compassion during what I considered to be a very frustrating situation. She just spent a lot of time with him and took time to talk with me each day she was his nurse.

There was one day it seemed like they had less staff and she was very busy, but she still spent time talking with me when I called in and didn't sound the least bit in a hurry to get off the phone.

I oversee hospitalizations in our facility so I've worked with many different nurses and many different types of departments and hospitals in the four-state area. As a whole, your burn unit has the best team I've ever seen. Your teamwork, skill, and compassion stand out from anywhere else but Alexa stood out the most to me. I've not had a better experience anywhere else.
