My brother suffered a very big accident and needed to undergo surgery after breaking his femur. With our mom in another hospital, Alex was able to take care of him and help him every time he had pain. He made the transition to surgery one not so scary at all, but above all, he won my brother's heart. Even after my brother was no longer under his care, Alex came to visit and check on him. In the end, Alex made my brother a "glove friend" and he decided to name it after him so he would remember his favorite nurse. I was staying with my brother the whole time and even though my brother had other great nurses, I can honestly say Alex deserves the credit. He really took him in as if he was his own. Alex even made a letter to the tooth fairy after my brother had swallowed his tooth in surgery. Overall, he really did an amazing job and deserves recognition.
