My mother has had Alexander Reaves three out of five days during her time here. Alex has been treating my mother with so much kindness and care. He always talks to her and explains what he is doing even when she is fully sedated. He checks with us to try to answer any questions we may have. He checks on her throughout his time to make sure she is adjusted to a comfortable position and to check if anything else is needed. I see him going to all the other rooms to check in on others. His concern and kindness seem genuine and not forced. If one of her machines makes a noise, he is quick to respond. I think he is a valuable asset to Elkhart General, and I believe he has made a positive difference to my mother’s quality of life while here.

Alex has been amazingly attentive to my mother. He’s always explaining to her and us exactly what he is doing. He checks on her often and really shows compassion. He interacts with us, always ensuring we understand what is happening and answering our questions. He makes sure my mom is constantly comfortable. I really appreciate how he talks to her not at her and he checks in often. I’m not sure an hour went by that he didn’t at least step in, and if an alarm went off, he responded quickly. When we had a question for him, he was always with one of his patients. This also reconfirms the care he has for them. I never once saw him at the desk on this cell phone. Honestly, if I could choose, he would be my mom’s nurse every day until we leave. From my family, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are amazing! Thank you for all you do.
