My 84-year-old Grandpa is hospitalized in Tucson all by himself. I came down from Illinois to be with him as long as I could, but with having two small children at home, it was only 2 days. While I was there visiting, I was overall happy with his care, however, Alexander was the epitome of great care and going above and beyond. He was patient with my Grandpa when he was incoherent, took his time when administering crushed medications, was attentive to all of my questions and concerns, and his bedside manner was phenomenal.

Since leaving the hospital, Alexander has personally kept me updated on my Grandpa's condition and has even video-chatted me on my Grandpa's phone so I could see him. We don't have many family members readily available to travel to Tucson to be with him, so he understood how upset I was to be leaving him.

I truly wish Alexander could be there with him 24/7 because he has built such a good rapport with my Grandpa and me. Saint Mary's should be so proud to have a nurse like this. To put it plainly, he showed tremendous amounts of compassion, patience, great communication, and efficiency. Alexander is a true DAISY Nurse!
